1. Don't make any other threads. If you want to post in the Storyline please post in the available thread.
2. No Virus Busting posts/threads. All Battles in the Storyline are straight RP. Meaning HP won't be a factor here, however your ATK, SPD, and RPD do still make impressions.
3. Play along with the Storyline. Since I'm not you I don't know what you'll be posting and vice versa.
4. Don't make sudden encounters, i.e. Don't do this. "The suddenly a V.A.P.I.D. virus appeared and deleted my navi!"
5. All story based things will be kept in the respective board from now on.
6. Try to enjoy yourself with the Storyline, it'll be intense at some parts, but later it'll all work out soon.
7. Please post at least 2 or more sentences. Things like: Yeah. Cool. Whatever. Are not sentences. Try to be descriptive if you can.
8. All Rules in the Rules Board, apply here as well.
9. I will try to incorporate Dimensional Areas in this chapter. This however does not mean that you will all have Syncro Chips. In fact I'll decide who does and doesn't. Try to be realistic (well sort of..) a normal everyday boy wouldn't get a Syncro Chip.
10. Remember that this is somewhat of a substitute until UF arrives.
11. Keep in mind that I'm not UF, we won't handle things the same way. Don't expect me to be as good as him, he is made of awesome X3
12. Oh and because this was a problem in a previous thread if you guys can't decide the winner of a fight I will. Why? Because I'm not part of the battle so I'll have a more neutral view. Besides I'm staff =P
13. I'm doing this because a certain persistent and annoying (jk) member (VAN) asked me to, besides the site is kinda dead without it. The point is that if you start OOC fighting again I will close the Story permanently. Well until UF comes and overrules me X.X

NOTE: Use only yours and only your BattleChips, don't use a chip that's: 1) One you don't even have. 2) A BattleChip that you just suddenly made up.

[ Academy News Special Report ]

"We interrupt your regularly schedule program for a special report! As we all know in the last few weeks V.A.P.I.D activity began to increase and although at first it seemed harmless it has become a terrible infection spreading to millions of computer per second. The damage has been so great the the Net Police has arrived at the Academy with hopes of stopping the outbreak."

The screen became blurry and lost it's picture, only a strange noise and gray screen remained. This was the condition of many of the electronic devices within the Academy, malfunctioning and practically useless. The V.A.P.I.D had multiplied and spread. They were no longer a simple worry, they were a menace. With their origin still unidentified the Net Police had no option but to invade the academy and search all of cyberspace. Students were forced to have a rougher time, there were few computers a lot of appliances malfunctioned. It seemed that perhaps they should just be send back home. It was not safe within the school and classes barely happened, what was the point of keeping them there.

Jun, however did not approved of this. He believed that things would calm down and that it would all be solved. He knew that school was very important to many of it's students and that some had a hard time back at their house. He was not going to let some stupid organization ruin the experience of does student or the reputation of the school. Jun wanted to fight. The Net Police did not like the idea though. Thus they ordered all net activity within the school to be stop. No civilian NetNavi was to enter the net.

Rules are meant to be broken though and the students here know that well. Of course the evil organization will follow in their lead, just adding a bit more chaos to the equation.

[Van]

Van had made a U-turn half way from the academy and made it back in half an hour. Though that period more V.A.P.I.D. viruses appeared in his HP. After seemingly endless virus bashing the HP was cleared long enough for Van to put up a barrier. He wasn't sure if the barrier would hold up, however, only time would tell.

That was several hours ago, and by now Van was half asleep asleep in his bed beside Lyn, once again worn out. He had been getting exhausted everyday some way or another, and he was feeling quite off balance. He had even been catching a cold, only being able to fight it off with some cold medication. And now he had the V.A.P.I.D.s to deal with. Yet somehow he managed to drift to sleep for the night, with his eyes still open, staring into empty space.

[Kyn Azleos Roya]

Thomas Stood, back in the academy grounds, on the beach, looking out into the sea, though it was only 6 in the morning, the sea shone clearly, as bright as day, but it was not to last.

"The last days of summer are ending, aren't they," Thomas half asked, still amazed by the image in front of him.

He turned to leave, when he noticed that the grounds were now covered in fog, he blinked, "Hmm, How did that get there? I thought it would be clear until next week," To his right, he thought he saw a figure running in the sand.

He blinked, " A V.A.P.I.D," He ran over to check, only to see that there were no tracks, only more fog,"I'm losing it. Time for a vacation."

He began walking back to his dorm, sighing, "Zyrois, let Van and Luso know that I am back, and to wait until I give them a signal to do something, until they act. I have something for them to do."

[Van]

Early that morning while Van was still fast asleep, still staring emptily at the blank wall, an irritating beeping noise began to ring though the room. Seconds later, Van's palm struck down on the spherical clock beside him on his nightstand, it was the source of the beeping. Van slowly rose out of bed, being careful not to wake the sleeping Lyn. He then walked over to his closet and grab a suit and proceeded to wash up, quietly.

About ten minutes later, he walked out his dorm and headed out for a stroll, something he did most every saturday morning. He was in much better spirts this morning. He also was wearing a new suit, he had on a teal vest striped with different shades of teal, and a thin, white sleeved shirt underneath. He also had sage windpants on, but they seemed to be the same color as the vest. In one hand, he had a plain blue mug filled with one of his custom herbal blends, "#107", he called it. In the other hand was his PET, with Trance onscreen displaying a message.

Van took a sip from his cup, and said, "Ahhh, #107..."

"Um, Van? The mail?" Trance reminded him as he enlarged the message to fill the screen.

"Ah, yes, from Zyrois eh? Hmm, 'Wait for orders'? What a delightful order. Heh, works for me." Van said. He had walked into the forrest by now and as he looked up from a clearing, he saw grayish clouds in the sky. They looked like they were about to let loose a rainstorm. Van took another sip from his cup, made a slight smile, and spoke to himself, "Hmm, lovely weather we're having."

[Ace]

Gnar had finally cleared his HP of Viruses, and fixed the barrier. "We can't let up this protection anymore. Send the data, all of it." he said. "Are you sure? We can't get any new data in this condition. Think strategy, Gnar." Chris replied. "You're right...All the data would strengthen it, but it would soon weaken as the data faded." Then the barrier broke. "What...Is...That?!" Gnar yelled, astounded. "Wait...Isn't that..."

"I leave the island to celebrate my birthday with my family and THIS is what happen's when I'm away?!" Said Edward to no-one in particular as he made land on the foggy beach. "At least you got a samurai sword to protect myself in case of Dimensional Area's popping and you being incased in them." Replied Gunslinger. "And that's better than your Battle Tank Ride Program you got my Unlce?" Asked Edward half joking and half sarcastically. "Don't judge me." Muttered Gunslinger.

OOC: Thanks Mimie for getting the storyline plot together again, I owe you one somehow, haha.

There were bangs against his door, very loud and disrupting. He lied there against the wall peacefully slightly drooling a bit of the corner of his mouth ignoring the cacophony. Night was relaxing as well, ignoring messages and such asking, "Are you okay?! Answer me!"

Night easily ignored the messages as if no one is even speaking to him. There was nothing more relaxing that ignoring people and resting peacefully, yes?

[Ace]

OOC: I can't think of what to do next. I'm just waiting for someone to do something so I can respond, if applicable.

[Luso]

OOC:lol I think that's what everyone is doing. Thomas asked me and Van to wait for his signal before we did anything...we should help that recent string of Newbies set up and start with fresh ideas for the storyline.

[Kyn Azleos Roya]

Thomas had finished unpacking as he loaded up the computer, to find it flooded with viruses. "Heh, is that all? The satellite is my storage, making it pointless to try and destroy data on a blank hard drive. Zyrois, if you please," He said, only half paying attention.

Zyrois appeared in the blank computer, and quickly destroyed the V.A.P.I.D.s, smirking as they fell. He began to open the port to the Internet to find Net police navi filling in. Zyrois smirked, `Hello boys. How ya doing?"

"You cannot access the Internet, by order of the-" The officer soon found himself back in the P.E.T, as Zyrois slashed through the incoming navi onslaught.

"Firesword, Airsword, in" Thomas said as Zyrois drew two blades out, and slashed through another wave.

"Water/Elec sword, In," Zyrois lodged the two swords into the large navi, as he drew out the two new set swords and continued the fight.

The large navi swung at Zyrois, nailing the navi into the wall. Zyrois grunted and got up, dashing at the the tank like navi, both blades still in hand, "Time to get creative," Zyrois said tossing the Water sword into the air, he adjusted the Elec sword's hilt. A few seconds passed and he caught the first sword, and attached it to the second one, "Dual bladed, sucker," He said running the water end through the navi, leaving it there, as he grabbed the other two and did the same thing, creating a fire-air sword combo.

Thomas pulled out an old cellphone, and dialled Luso's P.E.T number, and waited as he picked it up," Hello Luso, long time no see. Listen, Zyrois is almost done with the Phantom network, and Will be heading out into the net, He'll be in the Harpuia network in a few minutes. Start clearing out the network of Net police navis, as Zyrois will be a bit. When he gets there, he'll tell you what to do from there. Ok? Good, later," Thomas hung up, and reviewed the plan in his mind. After a moment passed, he looked at screen of his P.E.T, and smirked as Zyrois entered the net, and began for the Harpuia net.

[Luso]

Mesmero logged into the Harupia Network.

Luso yawned "Tactician moooooorrrph, activate."

"Internet access is prohibited currently. Please Ja-" The Netpolice navi had logged out himself. The Dark Knight Piece advanced to the next Navi, and the Jumper landed on a squad.
Pegasus created a twister that deleted a couple of Navis, and the Trio of Pawns advanced each moment with each new volley of longswords. A Shark cannon deleted a navi, and shuriken were logging out Netpolice left and right. Mesmero surveyed the battle from a mid range distance and then saw a trio of Netpolice escape the din. He had an eschewal of hand to hand combat, but now wasn't the time to whine. Luso loaded a watersword, and Mesmero downed all three. He then felt a sharp pain in his back. He turned and saw a rookie netpoliceman. The ninja ran him through with a katana. The dark knight was parrying a netpoliceman with a longsword, and the Pegasus blew him away.

Mesmero spoke to Luso. "Job's done."
Luso sighed. "Ok, time to wait for Thomas."

[Ace]

Gnar yawned, walking through the Net. "They did a nice job, clearing it out. Now I can commence with a small plan of my own..." He said, smirking. He advanced into a deep part of the School's Net, and into a giant doorway, concealed very well by advanced codes and data. Also, a wall of viruses. Gnar easily eliminated those.


He entered a code into the wall, and it opened. Inside were tons of advanced security systems, ready to go off at any minute. "Error. Non-Member detected. Security enhancement program activating." Said a voice. "Oh, crap..." Muttered Gnar.

[Kyn Azleos Roya]

"Interesting style, Mes. I have to say. Now then, I want you to deal with the other two dorms, as I have an appointment to keep," Zyrois said, leaning on a wall, only a few feet away.

Thomas had just finished sending Van the email to be on the lookout for Luso and Mesmero in the Leviathan dorm net as Zyrois logged back into the net, above the mass of V.A.P.I.D.s as saw Ace's navi, "Hmm, that kid'll get himself killed, V.A.P.I.D.s are starting to move in. I think our plans can wait for a tiny bit. `Sides, I do need to warm-up some more," Zyrois said jumping off the ledge he had been on to land behind Gnar with an abnormally large blast of wind.

"Hello Gnar," Zyrois said, drawing out the two blades he had crafted, and, smirking, continued, "You do know to watch your back in the field. Doesn't look like it," Zyrois pointed a blade at the oncoming virus army, then noticing the security guards coming form the door, and said, "take your pick, I, personally, want to fight the guards first, but hey, you do what you want."

One of the guards lunged at Zyrois, who leaped him, running the fire side though his back. He left the blade in there for a moment as he took out another guard with a swift kick, then pulled out the dual ended blade, kicking the guard off the blade," Stupid ogres. Always fall for it,' He promptly got nailed by a V.A.P.I.D, who seemed to want to get wise, only to meet his end promptly.

Thomas had left the computer, running out into the hall, knocking another Phantom off his feet as he bolted for the door. He had gotten outside as he saw net police officer heading for the two freed dorms, he took the hint to start for the school itself. He got out his P.E.T to warn Luso to vacate the building and do get to the school, only to see the Harpuia dorm already hit by the net police, "Man, they work fast," He said at a tone higher than normal. He stopped, noticing the officers just as they noticed him, "Hiya boys," he paused for a moment Um," He bolted before the officer got a chance to say anything.

Thomas soon found himself running through the think forest, avoiding the police, "I think running only made it worse. Meh, not the worst thing that's happened to me," he said, jumping another fallen branch, the officers gaining.

"Hmm, gotta lose them, but how," Thomas wondered out loud, promptly before tripping on a branch.The squad followed the same manner, pilling on Thomas, who could on grunt as the men trapped him. "I hate this forest," he grunted as he noticed that the officers had managed to knock themselves out on a low branch," Great, now I'm stuck, lemme guess, it's going to rain now."

[Luso]

Luso put out a hand to help Thomas up.

"All the dorms are crawling with Netpolice. Van has barricaded himself in the Leviathan dorm, and is clearing out Fefnir net as we speak. I took care of what was left of the rest in the other Dorm Nets. We've gotta help Van. I take it he's apart of the plan right?"

Thomas stood and brushed himself of the various debris. "Got any ideas to free Van?"

"I thought you'd never ask."

[Van]

Van was too busy taking care of the net guards to notice the mail. Trance was slashing at the guard in front of him in his Toushin Mode. After the last guard in sight fell to his deletion, Van took a break long enough for him to check the new mail from Thomas. As Van took a minute to rest, he peered over to his door knob, with the lock in a sideways unlocked position. Next he turned his attention to his window, open to let a nice soothing breeze into the room. Lastly he looked down at his pet on the desk in front of him.

Van picked it back up and clicked a few buttons. Next a menu popped up. Van began to configure his security options. "Personal security navis, deactivated. Physical lock down, Deactivated. Net space lock down, Level 2. Home Page Barrier, Level 2. That should do it. I'm sure they can at least breech a level to lock down."

"Hey, Van, chop chop buddy." Trance called out from the net, as 3 more guards appeared before him.

"Yeah, yeah." Van said as he rolled his eyes up & slotted in a few chips. "Aqua Sword, Asteroid, Freezing torrent, Slot in." Trance took the Aqua sword in his right hand and the Asteroid staff in the other. But strangely he just stood in one place & waited for the guards to make a move, and they did. The three guards rushed towards Trance in a triangular formation to try and trap him. Trance jumped up in place and used the Freezing Torrent to freeze two of the three guards. the third had used his standard shield to protect himself, destroying it in the process. With nothing to defend himself, the third guard with shot from behind with Cold Sapphire from Saph. Then Trance dashed in a triangle like the guards formation, and slashed them each in half, deleting them.

Next two more guards appeared and charged at Trance immediately. Trance just stood there once again & took the hits this time. but it was actually just a Carat clone, as the real trance was off at a distance as he called upon the Asteroids to finish of the two guards. "That ought to do it for now.By my count that's all the Leviathan guards plus the special guards for the Vapids." Van said with a sigh. "And now I'm bored."
