It is a disgusting truth... Obito Uchiha was on his squad and Obito had the sharingan, but one day he was killed in action and kakashi was awarded his sharingan for a jonin promotion gift...

When Kakashi became a Jounin at the age of 6. They were on a mission instructed by Kakashi. Rin was captured and Kakashi and Obito went to save her. They were fighting against enemy ninjas and one ninja did a jutsu that created a landslide or something like that. Kakashi was under it and Obito pushed Kakashi out of the way and he got crushed. Kakashi got Rin and defeated the remaining ninjas. Rin then took Obito's left Sharingan eye and implanted the injured left eye Kakashi had. And boom there he go thte Sharingan eye. That Sharingan eye was Obito's present for Kakashi becoming a Jounin.
I read the manga.
