I'm like really bored and it's 2:30 in the morning where I live and I can't go to sleep.. Haha interesting isn't it? Well, here is where I'm going to be posting the History, gasp, of Rockman NetBattle Academy. Now let's get this start shall we? :]
This site began about 2 or 3 years back and was called something like, Megaman Battle Network RPG, but to be perfectly honest here the site you are on now is actually my second attempt on doing a Rockman site, the first one was horrible and therefore left it, plus it was dead too. Anyways, I use to play this Online Pokemon RPG called TPPCRPG; this is where Misty came into the site, however I have lost all contact with her now. There I found a thread and that was when I was actually involved with another site which is now called Megaman EXE NetBattle RPG, or something like that and it's dead sadly.. And that's where I first really got into RP's, and that site is also where I have evolved this site. Thanks to the administrator there, Melforce, he actually gave me some good advice on this here, site so I give many thanks to him. Anyways, a fellow member here caggM, was from that site, and also made his own which is also sadly dead, and was one of the first members to join the site and another member of the name Bugman has joined too, he was Melforce's brother. I however back then was very n00bish, like very, and I would just be like, WHATEVER I HATE YOU NOW! But now, well things changed.. For the better?? This site was very new born so I joined the old forums of EXE Warrior, a site that actually scared me from even posting there, and that's where some of the members have joined in; Zeus was one of them, he has not been on in years, Zaorish was among the group and some more.
Now focusing on the site and all of it's old glory, this site wasn't originally at all an Academy. To be honest it was just basically a free world place where everything was just random and blah blah blah. And that's also when I made a horrible looking skin, which I still have saved. Anyways, the site was running really slow and I was on Melforce's site a lot and that's where fellow moderator Roxas came in, and was one of the main members, and then I do remember Ric coming into the picture as well, and it was literally just the three of us on at the time. Months passed by and site was still slow, we did advertise and such, there was about like 50 or so members. So then, this is when Darkness and I believe Luso came to join the site as well, and that was a very interesting time, since they were battling Slur in a team effort. After a while Mimie joined the gang, being the first active female member. During this as well was when I joined the MMBNBCT Online forum, which Darkness has given us the link and the administrator there, Shadow, joined this site. The time when Aran came into the picture is actually a blur to me since I don't quite remember, sorry Aran! And during this time I was really involved with other sites other than this one, which have all died sadly and they were really good too: examples contain Talesof Therocia, Naruto something, etc. Suddenly I remember Luso and Roxas, just a bit before Luso, just disappearing from us. So after a while, I got this paint program, not Paint. NET at the time, and I used it, and that's when I got the idea to COMPLETELY change the whole site's theme and skin. And that was when Rockman NetBattle Academy was BORN!
Now when I was thinking of the Academy I was combining a lot of ideas form animes together, Rockman, Yu-Gi-Oh, etc. And I'm still merging ideas from other animes into this site. Well anyways, when I was choosing the themes for the dorms I was thinking of Rockman Beast and Beast+ and that's when I came up with Trill Yellow, Iris White, Greiga Blue, and Faltzer Red! And choosing the Dorm Leaders actually was pretty difficult for me at first since I think I was thinking a bit too hard, and then after a while it just appealed to me so I chose the members that have been really loyal and very helpful around the site hencing your now Dorm Leaders, Darkness109, Mimie, Aran, and Ric0016, so give them a hand! Do it! Haha, well anyways, so after I re-opened the site with the new theme, it attracted quite a bit of members which was a bit overwhelming at the time, so I was a bitlot grouchy at that time, so I'm sorry if I have snapped at you in the past, everything is somewhat better now for my reality. Well anyways, suddenly after the flood of members coming in, they left without a word. And this is actually when there were basically copies of this site here so yeah, that kind of made me a bit more angry at the time, so yeah..
During the flood of members I was helping Melforce rebuild his new version of the site, which now has been shut down since according to him, "My brother and his friend changed my password and then logged me out on the site." So yeah.. I kind of don't get why he doesn't just use the lost password thing. Anyways, this site then started to die out a bit before I upgraded it to 2.0 and then 3.0 like months after 2.0 was launched. The site was getting back alive a bit, aaaand then it just died out.. AGAIN! But whatever, I'm use to it considering how the whole site actually started. It was pretty slow actually. Anyways, members members members then the site started to die again, so it was somewhat revived. And then it started to die again before 4.0 was launched, and then it was somewhat dead and then that's when I changed the Dorm theme to match Rockman Zero with the dorms, Fefnir Red, Leviathan Blue, Harpuia Green, and Phantom Purple, and that's when I changed the storyline.
The site again started to die after a couple of months, I put up a chatbox which was generally attacked with insults and such. Therefore Mimie, had taken it down. The site was on death row, if it wasn't really dead, and members were leaving, the Dorm Leaders weren't here, it was just practically abandoned. That's when I wanted to make it feel fresh again, with a new front page, splash page, and such. And here we are again, a new version and hopefully one that can last.
Haha, so did you have fun reading all of that? Because I had fun typing it up. Anyways, this thread might actually be updating And as time passes. And Veteran members, if you have something you want to put on here just tell me and I will. Also if you think I'm being a bit angry or really grouchy and snap back at you, I'm dealing a lot of stress and drama right now in my reality so I'm very sorry if I do.
Just so you know I entrust this site with all of the Dorm Leaders here, which is why I chose them in the first place. And also they have been here since the site was n00bish to what it is now. Wow, the old times.. The good old times..

Luso -- I would have to say the top member/moderator on the site so far.
Melforce -- Although he never did join, he did help me construct the place when I first started.
Misty -- Although she never posted and such, she was a good friend that supported me.
CaggM -- Literally the first, truly active member.
Roxas -- Long time friend, that had helped in the past.
I would also like to give regards to Melforce's site, Megaman EXE NetBattle RPG, the first RP site I ever joined, and the one that made me intrigued enough to start one of my own.
Who knows.. You might just be on here in the future.
