Chapter 1, Part 4: Rising

[Luso]

OOC: Who rips you off? Me? Van? Ace? I know its not Hitron; he couldn't create a solid plot or even sentence if his life depended on it. My plan is a lot different than yours. Well you'll see now won't you. In the mean time, I propose a battle. Chess. ONLINE! Hope you except Thomas.

[Kyn Azleos Roya]

OOC: Mostly Van. And how do you propose we play chess, and for that matter, why Chess? If it is the chess master comment, please read this: LINK.

[Ace]

Gnar kept watching as the two continued battling, matching each other move for move. He didn't care to interfere with Luso's strategy, but he would is he saw that Mesmero needed it. Chris then looked at the teacher and the rest of the class, who were staring at him, Luso, Van, Lyn, and the Battle scene. "Um...Chris? Would you mind to join in?" The teacher asked. "I would mind. They're having their battle, I'll get mine. But not with them, or anyone in there or our here." The Teacher looked confused.

[Van]

OOC: I'd like to see that match. And I don't rip you off, you just see it that way.

"Hey, I'm still here, jerk." Fiona called to Gnar has she surrounded him with clones. several charged all at once toward Gnar. He quickly dodged to his right, only to but slashed through his head by Fiona's Scythe. "Gnar.exe logout." Fiona was on her knees panting, and a second later she disappeared. "Fiona.exe logout."

"You under estimate us, Luso. That will be your downfall. You may not know but I most likely have more experience than you do, so you're right, I'm not your equal. I'm your better." Van was glaring at Luso as he smirked.

Zyrois had slashed through another of Fiona's clones, while the real Trance was up above them all. Trance slashed straight though the fake Zyrois and Blackgem with a high sword, and the came down in front of Mesmero, and battered him with a Blade Barrage. "Enough games, or is this really the best you can do?" Trance was standing there, glaring at Mesmero who was on the ground several feet away looking more serious than he ever has before.

[Ace]

Gnar scowled down. He was floating in the air, where he had sent one of his clones along with a logout message down. "That was there in case Zyrois got any ideas. Anyway, better make sure all the clones are gone." Gnar spun in another tornado with the power from the Dreamsword still remaining. It made a strong wind, which washed away all the clones. One was left, the real Fiona. Two of Gnar's clones came from behind her and slashed from both sides. "Fiona.EXE, logging out." You never will know which of me is real. destroy my clones and they'll come back stronger. Find me and you'll be eliminated."

[Van]

"I said enough games." Trance aimed his arm at the real Gnar hiding behind him and shot a Slim Shot at him, going straight through his chest and the clone in front of him. "Gnar.exe logout" "And don't come back." Trance called to Gnar, who had just reappeared in Chris' PET.

[Kyn Azleos Roya]

"Oh, wow... You two have some real problems," Zyrois muttered, watching the events.

He sighed as he continued walking along the sidelines, coming back to the ref, who had managed to get himself out of the wall, walking towards Zyrois he said, "Look, no outside guests or navis not in the fight-' He promptly met the wall again, deep enough to cover everything except for his feet. Zyrois smirked as he watched the feet flail around.

[Ace]

Chris sighed at Van. "Look, if you want Gnar to logour so you two can have your little battle, just tell me." Gnar came up behind Trance and shot a Chain from his arm that wrapped itself around Trance. "Seriously. I don't need to get involved with you two's fight." The clone data disappeared from Chris' P.E.T. and the real Gnar appeared there.

[Van]

Fiona had followed Gnar into his PET. She appeared behind him and stabbed him in the back with her scythe. As he fell Fiona turned around, looked over her shoulder, and said, "Thats for pissing us off." As she reappeared in her PET, Lyn walked back and took her seat next to Van's desk and continued observing the match.

[Ace]

Gnar sighed. He appeared back into the open, and destroyed Fiona's clones that she'd left behind. "Too late to put up the barrier." He said to Chris. "Yeah, but why not counterattack?" Chris replied. "Because if he attack them, we're attacking ourselves. Think for once." Chris put up the barrier. (And no one can say you broke the barrier (Van) because I posted how impenetrable it is.)

[Luso]

Mesmero's threw a couple more bombs, hitting Trance again. But as Mesmero reverted back to his regular form, he was pushed down from behind. Trance stood over him, blade pointed at Mesmero's face. "Any last words?"

Mesmero seemed to go into a deep thought process. "I win."

A sinister beep resided from behind Trance. A timed bomb. Trance wound up and was about to delete Mesmero, but too little too late. "Trance, Logging out."

Luso looked up at Van. "Nice try. I was wondering when his strength would expend."

Van pocketed his PET. "You got me....Luso."

Trance sighed. "An underhanded trick, but you bested us.

The teacher ordered the students back to their seats and began a lesson on proper technique in battling. He chose Thomas as his partner. But before he could utter even one command, Zyrois cleaned house.

[Van]

"Hey, hey hey! I'm not done!!!" Trance yelled as he jumped down from nowhere onto Zyrois' back. "Oh, heh, sorry." Van looked up for a moment and said, "You're too slow Trance. You lost your chance. And Luso, Checkmate. You only deleted one of Fiona's leftover clones, mixed with Trance's Copydata. Not the real thing. And by logging out Mesmero you forfeited the match."

Van smricked at Luso as he sat there, giving Van an unamused look from the corner of his eye. Van laugh to himself at the expression on Luso's face.

Just as Zyrois finished up in the arena the bell rang and the teacher dismissed the class. Van was quickly out the door and Lyn was right behind him. As it turned out Lyn even had the same schedule as Van. The two strolled off to their next class of Programing.

[Ace]

Trance was still left in the battlefield. "Van? C'MON!" Trance yelled at Van, who had left. Then Mesmero appeared behind him. Chris smirked, still in the room. "I took the liberty of mixing Mesmero's data with one of my clones, just as you did." He said to Trance. Luso was also in the room, and Chris heard running footsteps in the hall. Van was returning for his Navi.

[Luso]

OOC: Stop with the clones. Fights over. I won.

[Van]

OOC: Acually I won. ^_^

"Guys, it's over. I win. I have a habit of doing so. Now do you want to stand there staring at a clone of Trance all day or get to class before you're tardy?" Van then walked back over to his class across the hall as the clone deleted the Mesmero clone with Cyrstal Shuriken and proceeded to self-delete. Luso was right behind Van, leaving Chris standing there as the tardy bell rang.

Luso had been seated in his next class, whereever that may be. Van and Lyn were in Programing, seperated from Luso, Thomas, & Chris. They teamed up for a group project. "Perfect timing, we can finally complete the reasearch I've been doing." Van said as he typed on his laptop. It was just his class laptop, not his personal laptop with some of his important data on it. "Yea, it's lookong great." Lyn replied with a smile.
