I've gained a new interest in a game that I've been playing lately called Phantom Dust.
If you've played it discuss, if you haven't then I don't know.

Well I haven't played it, but I've heard of it. If I remember correctly, its about a guy thats been stuck underground, and comes up to find a... postapocalyptic world, if you will, filled with monsters, and particles called Phantom Dust(which I don't remember much about). Oh, and the guy has phycic powers, so he uses them to fight off the monters and get back the planet.

You got some of it correct.
The protagonist, who you get to name if you want, is a natural fighter using the Phantom Dust, which is just basically dust particles that contain energy. Him and another person are underground due to the world covered in dust and they call the outer layer the surface and can only stay on it for a limited amount of time, 15 minutes is the battle time. At the beginning of the game you get random ones and you're mostly partnered up with the not per se antagonist somewhat of the anti-hero. However soon you get an arsenal which is basically a containment of dust particles you choose out yourself, basically being your "deck" in battle. And there are 5 schools, basically types of dust, Ki, Psycho, Nature, Optical, and Faith. Some of them only have long range to medium range attacks, some medium to short range attacks.
Anyways, during the story you discover the past of the anti-hero, Edgar, as both him and the protagonist have lost their memories. After each successful mission you accomplish you get a Memory Box, it can either be info about enemies, reports, and to bring in the main story videos of Edgar.
That's the gist of it, I can't explain much more than that, since I'm only on the 4th Chapter and also stuck in a battle which by the way is very hard for me.
