The Navi Upgrade is upgrading your navi into another version. Making them stronger. Upgrading your navi is much like promoting them into a stronger unit, therefore it isn't something that should be ignored.
-How it Works
So now that you have the basic info about Upgrades, this is how it works. Once your Navi reaches level 50, you may request an upgrade by asking a Staff Member, and therefore you'll have an upgrade. You may edit the name, or add V. 2 or add more description or anything you believe that concerns the overview of your Navi. When you upgrade you restart on Level 1, and work your way up again and again.
Your Navi may only upgrade twice, once you reach the third upgrade and the level 50 you are therefore done with leveling your Navi.
-What You Get
Upon each Upgrade you gain:
One Natural Attack
One Special Attack
One Defense Ability
15 Student Points OR[/b] 10 BugFrags
Change of Data Boost, Element Exchange, OR[/b] Data Manipulation.
For Natural Attack, they can be up to 20 Points stronger than your strongest one.
For Special Attack, they can be up to 30 Points stronger than your strongest one.
And for Defense Ability, it can be up to 20 Points higher than your other one.
Therefore adding some more attacks in your arsenal, but be sure to post the things you're adding and choosing when you upgrade.
Also once you upgrade you get a new add-on to your Navi that is called a "Type."
What Types are, is that everytime you gain a level, you choose something you want to increase, and what your Type is will determine an extra bonus for your Navi. Here are the list of Types.
Attacker Type -- +1 ATK per level
Machine Type -- +1 RPD per level
Stealth Type -- +1 SPD per level
Health Type -- +10 HP per level
Training Type -- +100 EXP per level
Wealth Type -- +200 Zennies per level
Academic Type -- +2 SP per level
Fragment Type -- +2 Bug Frags per level
On your second upgrade you may switch your Type, so you gain other increases.
